The purpose of the article is to discuss the elements that emerge from the social interaction between a military institution such as the National Police of Peru and a civil institution such as the Women’s Emergency Center in the joint work for the care of women victims of gender violence; This implies knowing and questioning the way in which the two meet, from the physical space of the Police Station and from other aspects such as subordination, practices and attitudes that are detrimental to women who come for help; The case that we will take for the narrative of this article is that of the Rímac Beach Police Station located in one of the regions that report the most cases of violence against women, Callao.
