Abstract

This research narrates the different perspectives and utopias of a group of Lima mechanics in the face of the confinement and isolation policies that the Peruvian State applied during the COVID-19 pandemic. These state strategies were transformed into measures that in their opinion they would bring poverty to their families. Faced with this, they interpose strategies to work by restoring their forms of socialization and having alternatives to be able to stop and live with the virus, knowing of its high contagion rate.
