Metodología para la identificación de variables representativas en la captura de datos in situ de espectroscopía

Las firmas espectrales son representaciones gráficas que relacionan el espectro electromagnético con la respuesta o amplitud de onda, resultado de la interacción de los objetos y la luz. Cada cobertura del suelo, debido a la diferente composición de materiales, genera una respuesta espectral particular. Por lo tanto, la clasificación automatizada de coberturas, ya sea orientada a objetos o a píxeles, tiene como fundamento la respuesta espectral de los diferentes segmentos o píxeles, respectivamente.
Las librerías espectrales son bases de datos donde se almacenan estas respuestas espectrales, de modo que los investigadores u organizaciones que intervienen en la recolección, procesamiento y análisis de estas muestras, puedan trabajar de manera colaborativa, evitando la redundancia en las investigaciones y optimizando tiempo en el desarrollo de las mismas. Sin embargo, actualmente no existe un modelo de metadatos definido para garantizar la interoperabilidad entre investigadores u organizaciones que generan firmas espectrales. Por lo tanto, como primer paso, es necesario identificar aquellas variables que resultan ser representativas en la captura de firmas espectrales. Para hacer la respectiva definición de parámetros, se capturan diferentes firmas de coberturas en el campo y se compara la espectralidad a partir del algoritmo Spectral Angle Mapper – SAM.
