The Chamidae family (Bivalvia: Venerida) in Peru, with the addition of five new records

The family Chamidae in Peru is revised, which includes eleven species, distributed in the genus Arcinella Schumacker, 1817 and Chama Linnaeus, 1758. Chama frondosa Broderip, 1835, Chama granti (Strong, 1934), Chama hicksi Valentich-Scott & Coan, 2010, Chama janus Reeve, 1847 and Chama producta Broderip, 1835 are recorded for the first time. Descriptions and data about distribution, ecology and other remarks are given for all species.Downloads
