Abstract

The management of information technology (IT) is essential in any organization where IT is of utmost importance, since its purpose is the continuity of IT services that can be interrupted by a complex incident. This article reviews the state of the art of problem management, emphasizing a model of IT management issues. It also makes a comparative evaluation of IT management models, considering the mandatory, optional or integration, the assessment that the ITIL is the most suitable for the management of IT problems.
