Abstract

Information related to the research topic was collected, through a review of literature on mixed reality, to strengthen the educational sector. The goal is to identify potential research problems that have not yet been investigated. It focused on a qualitative approach, had an exploratory and descriptive design, articles related to the topic were selected for subsequent analysis and explanation, indexed data repositories such as Dialnet, Scopus, SciELO and the UNAM university repository were entered, to filter the keywords and compile the results for this research, the keywords were filtered and 15 articles were compiled, of which eleven have a qualitative approach, two quantitative and two mixed, they were grouped by country of origin, and then interpreted and extrapolate the results, analyze their implications and limitations, and compare the results, the perspective of other authors of the articles was considered. It also identified potential research problems, and problems that have not yet been investigated. Finally, the critical assessment of the information was carried out and the steps to follow were mentioned since information is very important in education, there is an opportunity in the educational sector. It is expected that this project will serve as support for future research.
