This article discusses the challenges and solutions to providing healthcare to vulnerable citizens in remote areas, focusing on Peru as a case study. It highlights the need to improve health monitoring, prescribing, and medication systems to improve healthcare delivery. The paper identifies existing barriers and explores innovative and accessible strategies to overcome them. The proposed solution through a Medication and Prescription Health Monitoring System leverages digital, web, IoT, and mobile technology for remote medication administration and health monitoring. This system allows physicians to conduct virtual consultations and diagnose and prescribe medications delivered to remote communities through a logistics network. The proposed approach concludes that it effectively improves access to health care and quality of life for remote populations in Peru and alleviates the burden on overburdened health professionals.
