The purpose of this article is to make a literary review about tumor markers (TM) and how they can be treated using artificial intelligence techniques. MTs are composed of molecules that may be in high quantities and that manifest as the patient's reaction to the tumor. The usefulness of MTs is determined by the sensitivity and specificity of each of them. The purpose of this review is to review the tumor markers most used in clinical practice and artificial intelligence to discover knowledge that helps improve decision-making for the health of patients.
