This essay is a reflection and at the same time a proposal on the concept of a computer program or system in relation to a Theory or Model; supporting the existence of two different interpretations regarding the use of the word Model, as a theorization that mediates between a representative and a representation, as if they were a relationship between an object and its image. We use the definition of the Turing machine to clarify the need for the concepts of Theory and Model for definition of computability.
