Abstract

With the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), many technical accounting tasks have been automated, making soft skills crucial for professional success. This article reviews the literature on the relevance of these competencies and presents strategies for their integration into the curriculum of the Faculty of Accounting Sciences at UNMSM. Key soft skills such as empathy, creativity, adaptability, and effective communication are discussed, highlighting their importance in the training of accountants capable of facing the challenges of an automated work environment. The proposals include curriculum redesign, the implementation of practical workshops, and the continuous evaluation of these skills.
