In the 21st century, innovative trends and accelerated technological advancement have motivated companies to implement digital improvements. However, few organizations manage to integrate these changes with human capital management, despite the fact that technology affects all levels of the organizational structure. This essay examines how globalization and the digital environment have transformed the areas of human resources, altering both the expectations of employees and the role of managers. It is concluded that it is essential to recognize the intangible value of human capital in organizational adaptation and that leaders must strengthen the skills and competencies of their teams to face a constantly evolving digital environment.
