Abstract

The search for improvement in the business administration learning programs conducted this investigation towards the educational information technology field. Thus, a simulation model was designed to allow the development of the application thought for under graduate or technical school students (non-specialists level). The development method used for this interactive game was the prototype. The experience in lecturing supported by the simulation tool, broadened the study field to seek for a methodology that would complement the traditional way of classroom lectures with laboratory workshops, aiming to reduce the educational gap. Reading and practice materials, as well as other complementary tools, are indispensable and must be prepared by a multidisciplinary professional team, since such materials are not available in the market. The research has not finished yet and will take a lot of work and effort to continue with it, but the interactive game called «Edison, juego de Negocios para Capacitación y Desarrollo del Espíritu Empresarial », has already achieved an important award and exceeded expectations.
