The success of a software development project depends on a product with all user specifications and deliver an time and term of the established budget. Many projects fail when they not being release on time or without budget because a bad estimation of the effort or duration. This article shows how to use metric and case based on size or functionally, points of function, can help to have better control and better evaluation of the times and efforts required in software development projects, taking in consideration the size of software.
