Abstract

The Surveillance Epidemiology (SE), constitutes an effective strategy; of control the epidémicas diseases. The key of all the system of health rests un the 4ual1ty the data of base and in its use for the fast and appropriate dec¡s10n mak1ng Such sense, the information technologies have become strategic tools. allow1ng to obtain opportune and reliable data for the planning, the management, the distribution and the mobilization of the resources. The present article make a bibliographical revision of the use of the Technologies of information for the Monitoring Epidemiologist, implanted in the countries like answer to the necessity to harness the Systems of Monitoring, shows the use of different methodologies in the development from aplicativos that serve as support to store, to validate and to process information to take to a more exact control of the notification and the registry of cases of disease of obligatory notification and institutional interest, as well as, the effort articulated between countries to interchange information that later is translated in the improvement of health of the populations
