The production quality software requires a mature development process, to implement modern best practices in software engineering, the use of a flexible framework that covers the life cycle and is adaptable to projects according to their context. One of the problems presented by organizations due to the lack of alignment of processes with their technological infrastructure. Applications are fragile because they are not focused on processes. This paper applies the discipline "business model" of the "Rational Unified Process" (RUP) to a case study, in order to highlight the importance of analyzing business processes in Information Technology projects.Downloads
