The work that is presented in this article has being developed in the area of The lmage Retrieval Systems. Especially, it is unrolled in the context of the civil safety. There has been realized the analysis and design of a tool of software, which is a Retrieval System of facial images of individuals. The images that are registered belong to individuals who have committed criminal acts and have penal precedents. The system consists of two modules: 1) Storage of textual descriptions of facial images; and 2) Recovery of an image before a consultation of a user. lts development is based on the Vector Space Model. Hereby, the lmage Retrieval System of Recovery of individual lmages of malefactors they are a technological tool of support to the process of attacking the delinquency. In that, from a repository of images of individual malefactors, the system allows to ídentify suspicíous individuals who are in a public environment, since in buses, meter, street, etc.Downloads
