Records systems play a crucial role in ensuring citizens' access to information generated by public entities. Document organization, a core archival process, is essential for this purpose. However, a 2014 census by the National Archives revealed that public archives professionals lacked knowledge of document organization regulations. This aligns with the National Public Management Modernization Policy 2030, which highlights limited knowledge management in public entities, hindering innovation and intervention effectiveness. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge management and document organization within the OTASS records system. Using a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, and correlational study with a quantitative approach, a questionnaire (Likert scale) was administered to 26 OTASS records system professionals. A Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.684 indicated a positive and moderate relationship between knowledge management and document organization. No significant relationship was found between knowledge management and document classification, a document organization stage.
