Crimes committed by public officials and granting of preventive detention in the south lima fiscal district 2018-2020

The general objective of the investigation is to identify the criteria that have been used in the Fiscal District of South Lima to apply the preventive detention order in the criminal offenses of Embezzlement and Own Passive Bribery, years 2018-2020. To this end, a socio-legal investigation was carried out, which included the programmatic study of the precautionary measures corresponding to the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 and having judges, prosecutors and lawyers of the Fiscal District of Lima as the unit of analysis. -South. Intentional or non-probabilistic sampling and research techniques such as the survey, documentary analysis and interview were applied, with a Survey Guide for prosecutors, judges and lawyers.
