The main ideas covered in the text are the problem of employment discrimination against released prisoners in Peru, the importance of work in resocialization, and the role of the State in promoting the labor inclusion of this population group. It concludes that a multidisciplinary approach, including education, is necessary to effectively address this problem. The article aims to explain that released prisoners are discriminated against due to their criminal records. The article was developed through an extensive bibliographic review, with an explanatory study. The article presents alternative solutions to allow released prisoners to access the labor market, preceded by work-related education. As a result of the analysis, it proposes affirmative actions in favor of the prisoners to achieve access to the labor market while respecting human rights.
