Phytoremediation is a technology used to recover plants contaminated with organic or inorganic soils. In order to determine the capacity of the plant Helianthus annuus L sunflower to grow absorb and accumulate heavy metals like lead, an experiment was installed in the Laboratory of Fertility Universidad Agraria La Molina, which lasted 60 days. Statistical design was used completely randomized with three replications, soil samples were taken from the vicinity of the Refinery Mapple Gas - Pucallpa with conditioners: Worm compost, sawdust white bolaina and white perlite, and as plant phyto extractor Helianthus annuus L. sunflower The results and statistical significance test showed that the T4 ( more contaminated sawdust bolaina more humus and T6 ( more contaminated soil humus more perlite ) soil treatment , therapy had better height growth and dry weight of plant tissues (root , stem and leaves ), and further extracted and accumulated higher amounts of heavy metals from petroleum hydrocarbons such as Pb comparatively to other treatments. Confirming that the sunflower plant is a good fitoextractor lead by accumulating range of 21.03 and 26.99 ppm Pb.Downloads
