Abstract

“A method for the linguistic case of the peruvian indian” is an article published by José María Arguedas in History magazine directed by Jorge Basadre in 1944. This article, subject of this study, has been ignored in almost all treaties that have addressed the Peruvian novelist famous work and reflects about the value of teaching Spanish Quechua speaker and the method to be used for that purpose.

Author Biography

  • Ricardo Falla Barreda, Facultad de Letras y Ciencias Humanas, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos
    Poeta y profesor universitario. Licenciado y magíster en Literatura Peruana y Latinoamericana. Ejerce la docencia en calidad de profesor principal en la EAP de Comunicación Social, Facultad de Letras y Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos en los niveles de pregrado y posgrado. Ha merecido la Beca de Investigadores Hispanistas concedida por la Dirección de Asuntos Culturales y Científicos del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de España; la Beca de Investigación entregada por el Ministero degli Affari Esteri de Italia, Universitá degli Studi di Firenze, Facoltá di Magistero. Sus artículos han sido publicados en revistas indizadas y arbitradas del Perú y del extranjero. Ha participado en innumerables congresos nacionales e internacionales en calidad de expositor y ponente; asimismo, ha ejercido la docencia en calidad de profesor visitante en la Universidad de Salamanca (España), Universidad de Turín (Italia), entre otras. En el 2014 fue presidente de la Comisión Organizadora del Primer Simposio Internacional de Comunicación Social Nuevos desafíos de la comunicación social del Perú y América Latina, organizado por la Facultad de Letras y Ciencias Humanas de la UNMSM.
