TINTAYA: 2012 SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL CONFLICT

The study is focused on the socio-environmental conflict May 21, 2012 in the mining complex Tintaya (Cusco). This conflict, background, causes, actors, demands, government proposals and mining company, main actions and conclusions about. The main objective is to show that this conflict is a result of unresolved problems for over 30 years, during which the predominant are the extensions and postponements by the state and private enterprise, which is also recurrent in other mining centers. It has been used essentially secondary sources, among them the documentary technique is protagonist.Downloads
