Dimensioning of a network to provide of the Public Service Fixed Wireless Telephony in 450 MHz band

Abstract

This paper aims to show how to plan a platform for telecommunications network for the provision of public fixed telephone service wireless local in the form subscriber in locations that do not have this service, in which the features described techniques of each system involved in the proposed provision of said service network diagram, and the goals of use of radio spectrum and coverage plan for the first years of operation. To this end, the scheme proposed network, based on the (Wireless Local Loop - WLL) technology Loop Closed Loop with code division multiple access (Code Division Multiple Access - CDMA) uses the Band A 450 MHz for fixed wireless access systems (Fixed Wireless Access - FW A). Thus, this technology uses the same that has been providing solutions in different rural areas of the world as a technological alternative to a rugged geography to provide fixed telephony service. Finally, the timing of development activities and the projection of the estimated investment for this project is presented.
