This article presents an application of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to process audio signals from the noises of water leaks from the different sections of the water supply pipes. The captured signal is sent to a laptop where it is processed by the Fast Fourier Transform, to be visualized the frequency spectrum and observe the values of the frequency amplitude measured in W/Hertz and detect non-visible water leaks and mark the supply section. Currently the process is done by listening to the sound of the water flow through headphones and requires special training for listening.
