CUBIC TCP Analysis Using a Deterministic Model of Loss
Keywords:
AIMD, MIMD, TCP, congestion control, Markov chainAbstract
CUBIC is one of the most important protocols since it was set as default option in the Linux kernel. This paper aims at an analysis of the concave region of congestion avoidance to understand the functioning and mechanism of CUBIC. The mathematical analysis allows us to find the average size of window and thus verify that the performance of CUBIC is best in high retardation, and high BDP networks.Downloads
