Abstract

This paper describes the server Linux´s implementation for the Faculty of Electronic Engineering (Proyect of the year 2001), which has been implemented initially to present a page prototype of the Faculty, as well as to offer services of FTP and in the future it will also offer information of academic type. The Operating System one (SO) used it is the Red Hat Linux 7, which possesses free license and guarantees a robust service.
