This work presents the stages of design and construction of a balanced finline mixer. The device operate at Ku band, centered on 15 GHz and use as non-linear element a pair matched of Beam Lead Schottky diode. The circuit was developed with planar technology: finline, coplanar waveguide and suspended stripline. The minimum isolation between ports LO-RF and LO-FI is 15 dB, at band from 14 to 16 GHz. A conversion loss is 16 dB foro in of LO: 18 dBm (14.5 GHz) and RF: -10 dBm (16.5 GHz).Downloads
