CPLD to control a stepper motor

This paper describes the process by which within a CPLD have been inserted sequential logic circuits necessary to enable the operation of a stepper motor in full step sequences, half step, in directions of clockwise and counterclockwise and different speeds. The work is useful for professionals and students of electronic engineering because methodologically sequential logic circuits are designed and are given the necessary guidelines for the use of CPLDs.Downloads
