Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the latest technology to calculate volumes, using ultrasonic sensors that can determine the differential volume of water in a container of truncated cylinder, this is achieved through programming of electronic components, the ultrasonic sensor is mounted on a small circuit that records the height of the container with respect to water, the sensor sends this information to the main circuit containing a Pic Pic programmed in BASIC, the Pic manages and handles the information it receives from the sensors are sent to Chip Max, a special chip that will convert the Pic Basic information in ASCII code, so you can move to the computer through the serial port on a computer by a program coded in Visual Basic, shows the information that enters through the serial port, showing the volume and the volume differential.
