Abstract

Traditionally companies and between them the fishing ones, have measured the success of the management in terms of economic results, which allows to know what have been done in the past, but not to be in advance to the future. Likewise they do not achieve goals due to lack of control in management, which in general only consider financia! matters. On the other hand, .mccessfull models of management control exist on diverse industry and commerce sectors, but not brought to the fishing sector. In the present article, strategic management models are comparative evaluated, a procedure to implement Balances Scorecard (BSC) is show up. The comparative study on models of management realize that the BSC is most suitable for the fishing industry. Also there has developed a system of management control based on BSC, which shows that is feasible, efficient and effective to realize the strategic control of companies in the above mentioned sector
