This article critically analyzes the social issue and the strike in light of the conflicts that have arisen on the platforms, taking into account the strike carried out by streamers on the Twitch platform. For this, it begins by conceptualizing the content of the social question and the role of the strike as an action of the working class to change their material conditions of existence with a view to explaining them in the conflicts on digital platforms. Subsequently, the streamers' strike on Twitch is examined, explaining: 1) the background and dimension, 2) organization, lawsuits and collective action, 3) ending the fight and 4) the impact on viewers; With these elements, the objective is to establish some lessons and cyclical coincidences that allow us to understand how the social question in our time is virtualized as well as the dimension of its impact on labor relations.
