Abstract

The aim of the study is to present the elements of competitive strategy of a project Science and Technology Park at the School of Industrial Engineering considering the sources of competitiveness and creation of research and development potential to generate innovation in contact with the business community. The contribution to the knowledge and research of a Science and Technology Park is to consider the concept of development that stands Diamond geographical space and environmental conditions to design and implement strategies to creativity, innovation and product promotion through incubator High technology. The methodology is an empirical research to identify factors of competitive advantage of the faculty and the university. In the results found potential perceived as a clearinghouse of opportunities for business endeavor, considering the triple helix model as a tool for integrating Academia, Business and State, highlighting the projection and contribution to development, according to its leadership position of UNMSM in Academia and Research in Peru.
