Abstract

The present study has raised the following working hypothesis: There is a degree of labor dissatisfaction in the professors of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, in the dimensions of recognition, compensation and supervision. In this regard, the independent variable is the job satisfaction and the dependent variables are the recognition and compensation and monitoring. As we well know, job satisfaction has become a topic of great interest in recent years to contribute to the achievement of organizational outcomes that express the degree of effectiveness, efficiency and effectiveness achieved by the company, as indicators of behavior that may allow the adoption of policies and institutional decisions. In this opportunity we thought it might be useful to know the degree of job satisfaction of university teachers, is the expression of the positive or negative feelings against certain aspects of the work such as: the recognition of their work, the financial compensation and the supervision of the chief. To that effect has been used the abbreviated version of the questionnaire of work satisfaction of the University of Minnesota, which has been applied to a sample of 50 per cent of the teachers. The overall objective of the research is to determine the degree of job satisfaction of the professors of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the UNMSM; while the specific objectives are related to determine the degree of job satisfaction in relation to the dimensions of recognition, compensation and supervision.
