In the rural spaces of Huancavelica, Ayacucho and Junín one of the public ceremonies of singular importance continues being the “celebration of the cattle”, “Santiago” or “Tayta Shanti” made in the months of June, July and August, like ritual spaces and times for the multiplication of the cattles and of identification with the Gods of the Andean cosmos: The Apus and Santiago.
