Parámetros de Calidad de Servicio en Redes IP

Abstract

This article presents some QoS parameters for San Marcos Telematic Network, who connected to Internet. To obtain these parameters, we have considered both technical and economic factors. We first present a approximated model about to network provider our city and how they give their services to users. Then, we present a LAN Ethernet model, and analysis of problems associated with the quality of service, which we had taken as a reference for study and application, the topology of San Marcos Telematic Network. This network has been developed with UTP and fiber optic technologies as physical layer, Ethernet technologies and IP network protocols. Finally we propose QoS parameters so that it will be possible to keep growing properly for the organization and that it includes diffServ, traffic engineering and management techniques traffic.
