Abstract

The invasion processes in Lima have their roots since the 1950s and continue today. This study focused on a human settlement known as "Mariscal Castilla" in the Rímac district, where a new invasion process was carried out in 2015, now called Second Extension, sector "A" of the AA.HH. Marshal Castilla. The fundamental purpose of this analysis was to examine the various profiles that emerged as a result of the recent invasion in the AA.HH. Marshal Castilla. This objective was achieved through semi-structured interviews with 14 heads of family from the new homes that were established. By directly approaching family leaders, the aim is to obtain direct and detailed information that allows analyzing and understanding the profiles of those involved in this occupation and settlement process. Ultimately, the findings not only reveal the specific circumstances that gave rise to the invasion in 2015, but also the complexities and variations in the profiles of new residents in the context of 21st century invasions.
