Failure and Success Factors in a Software Development Project

There are many reasons why a software development project is unsuccessful or successful, this paper reviews the literature to find out what are the determining and common reasons for the failure and success of a generic project (regardless of the size of the project, large, medium or small), knowing them allows us to avoid or enhance them, thus increasing the possibility of success in the development of our projects.
