PRODUCCIÓN LECHERA EN LA AMAZONÍA

El Fundo Agroganadero “Las Mercedes” se ubica en Tarapoto, en el Distrito Banda de Shilcayo, Provincia de San Martín, Departamento de San Martín; a 220 m.s.n.m. Este fundo ha logrado integrar la producción, el procesamiento y la comercialización de leche y derivados, como ejemplo de lo que deben aspirar todos los criadores de ganado vacuno de la zona. La crianza se inició en 1987 con 25 vacas. Sin embargo, debido a la violencia terrorista que imperaba en esta región, el mejoramiento genético se interrumpió entre los años 1989 y 1993.Downloads
