MASTITIS: PREVENCIÓN Y CONTROL

La mastitis es una enfermedad causada por microorganismos que invaden la ubre cuando los macroorganismos (los hombres) operan mal la máquina de ordeño, produciéndose un proceso inflamatorio leve o severo. La inflamación de la ubre se caracteriza por cambios en el tejido glandular y la leche. Cuando estos cambios son detectables mediante inspección y/o palpación, hablamos de mastitis clínica. Si no hay cambios detectables clínicamente, se recurre a métodos indirectos de campo o de laboratorio; y si éstos son positivos, hablamos de mastitis subclínica.Downloads
