For this purpose, a questionnaire validated by expert professionals on BOAS was developed. Of the owners surveyed, 46% presented a medium level of recognition, 28% a high recognition and 26% a low recognition. The most recognized clinical signs were rales (93%), panting and snoring (91%) and stenosis of the nostrils (89%).
