Se utilizó la prueba de inhibición de la hemaglutinación para determinar la prevalencia de anticuerpos contra el virus de la enfermedad de Newcastle en aves cantoras silvestres sanos (Paseriformes) (N=263), las tórtolas y las palomas (Columbiformes) (n=l35) de la provincia de Chancay, Perú. Todos los animales sometidos a pruebas fueron negativos, lo que sugiere que las aves no eran expuestos al virus o que la prevalencia es inferior a 0,75%.Downloads
