Abstract

This is a test of visual perception in which sheets containing novel scenes and situations of everyday life in schematic form and with total disregard of detail accessories are presented. The essential features of the situation are present only through proper arrangement of pieces of fine wire wool and photographed. The response achieved in a control group of 100 normal persons constituted by the type of response and fifteen schizophrenic patients compared. Eighteen have been classified schizophrenic types response to the sheets that differ from the normal response. The purpose of the research is to show the primary disorder prejudicativa noetic function in building the perceptual world in the schizophrenic. This is a preliminary report.
