Abstract

The administration of human chorionic hormone and estrogen to normal rats, produces an atypical endometrial characterized histological simultaneous presence of proliferative and secretory changes. The core of epithelial cells shows that overall a more normal appearance and occasionally reaching vesicular large. Abnormal box can not be induced by treating rats with normal or chorionic estróqenos administered alone or both hormones to castrated animals. A similar alteration is, however; when ovariectomized rats are treated with large doses of estrogen and progesterone. Pathogenesis and the possible relationship of this alteration certain endometrial changes seen in humans is briefly discussed.
