ASD is the most common in our series of 100 cases congenital heart catheterization since 1948. In order of frequency follow the VSD, the ductus arteriosus and pulmonary stenosis. This higher incidence of ASD, agrees with the earlier findings of ME Abbott or the recent studies of Abrahams and Wood. In our series, we found 17 cases of atrial septal defect (17.70%); of which we have selected 9 patients whose data are the most complete.Downloads
