Abstract

Señor Editor, Leímos con interés la comunicación corta “ ‘Copiar y pegar’ en investigaciones en el pregrado: haciendo mal uso del Internet” donde se describe las características de plagio en proyectos de investigación científica en pregrado (1). Nos alerta que solo el 29,5% de la muestra estudiada utilizó referencias provenientes de publicaciones científicas para sus proyectos. Esto revela la falta de entrenamiento apropiado en búsqueda de información en estudiantes de pregrado; mientras que el hecho que 100% de los que usaron revistas científicas utilizaron aquellas de acceso libre traería a colación la dificultad de acceso a información por motivos económicos en los países en desarrollo.
