Capacidad cicatrizante de úlceras gástricas y regeneración mucoepitelial del zumo de Solanum tuberosum variedad tomasa, en animales de experimentación

Objetivos: Evaluar la capacidad cicatrizante en úlcera gástrica y regeneración mucoepitelial del zumo de Solanum tuberosum variedad tomasa, en ratas. Diseño: Experimental. Institución: Centro de Investigación de Bioquímica y Nutrición, Facultad de Medicina, UNMSM. Material biológico: Ratas machos de 230g+7g, zumo de S. tuberosum-tomasa. Intervenciones: Se administró alcohol a 70%, vía orogástrica, previo ayuno sólido de 24 h y líquido por 2 h; posteriormente, se administró 10 mL/kg de peso de zumo entero, sobrenadante y sedimento. Se formó grupos control sin y con tratamiento farmacológico de omeprazol 30 mg/kg y ranitidina 50 mg/kg. El día 3 fue fijado como punto de corte. Los estómagos fueron extraídos por laparoscopia abdominal, bajo anestesia con vapor de éter. Los tejidos fueron conservados en formaldehido 10% en NaCl 0,9%. Principales medidas de resultados: Porcentaje de reducción del área ulcerada, mediante software APS PRESS de la imagen digitalizada. Resultados: Se observó reducción del área lesionada, desde 14,5+2,1% hasta 0,81+0,36% para el sobrenadante y 0,76+0,33% para el sedimento, equiparables al tratamiento con ranitidina (0,74+0,58%) y omeprazol (0,56+0,31%). El zumo entero redujo el área lesionada a 6,02+3,43%. El estudio anatomopatológico confirmó regeneración de mucosa gástrica tras el tratamiento. Conclusiones: El sobrenadante y precipitado del zumo de Solanum tuberosum poseyeron capacidad cicatrizante en úlcera gástrica y regeneración mucoepitelial en gastritis erosiva causada por alcohol.Downloads
