En enero de 1918 se publicó el primer volumen de Anales de la Facultad de Medicina, bajo la dirección del entonces Decano Dr. Ernesto Odriozola; el secretario de redacción fue el Dr. Hermilio Valdizán. El primer nombre de la Revista fue Anales de la Facultad de Medicina de Lima, pues era publicada por la Universidad de Lima, que luego fue denominada Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (1). Con interrupciones entre 1972 y 1988 y de 1990 a 1884, Anales ha sido publicada ininterrumpidamente desde 1995 –volumen 56-, bajo la dirección del Decano Dr. José Piscoya, y desde finales del 2000 hasta el presente (volumen 74) con un Comité Editorial que con pocas variaciones ha apostado por mantener el prestigio de la Revista, lo que le ha permitido ingresar a las importantes indexadoras LIPECS, LILACS, LATINDEX, REDALYC, SciELO Perú, IMBIOMED e ISI Web of Knowledge. Compartimos con nuestros lectores la celebración de los 95 años de la aparición de Anales de la Facultad de Medicina, y les participamos que en próximos números tendremos interesantes artículos del Instituto de Medicina Tropical ‘Daniel A. Carrión’ y de las XII Jornadas Sanfernandinas que, con motivo de celebraciones académicas, harán importantes aportes a la Revista Anales con sus más recientes investigaciones.Downloads
