Evolution of digital health in Peru: advances and challenges in the public sector

La salud digital abarca el uso de tecnologías aplicadas al sector salud para mejorar la calidad de vida y el bienestar de las personas (1), incluyendo por ejemplo la telesalud, la salud móvil, los registros electrónicos de salud (como la historia clínica electrónica) y la inteligencia artificial. En el Perú, el avance de la salud digital ha sido gradual y sostenido, con hitos importantes en su desarrollo. Sin embargo, persisten desafíos para su consolidación dentro del sistema de salud, especialmente en el sector público.
