Abstract

It stood at the angle formed by the square of Santa Ana and Sacramento Street Santa Ana, an old house facade always dusty, the windows always closed and offering eternally whimsical mutilation of their glassware. Nothing more picturesque than the facade of this old mansion whose architecture spoke of other times, other people and other tastes; nothing more picturesque than the whole abirragado business, if I may call them so, established under the moth-eaten and decoloridos roofs of the old house; a small cafe stays busy impertinent and foul-mouthed drunks; an inn whose income dábanse slaps on a covered table of dubious white napkin, a noodle recipe and a Genoese Lima kebabs recipe.
