The Azigography in Portal Hypertension

The steady progress of Portal Hypertension Surgery , forced internists and radiologists to find new methods of exploration that allowed us to evaluate the status and venous device. In this regard, the advent of Esplenoportogralía allowed visualization Portal system since its inception, first serving a purpose. This technique splenoportal pathophysiological research axis , gives insights satellite bodies and constitutes at present an important consideration in daily practice , although implementation involves some risk, especially in cases of high blood pressure. With the progress of Radiology , has joined as a method of exploration the specialized Azigografía having two interesting facts : The first is related to its location in the posterior mediastinum and the other half made concerning its dynamic role , because it represents a anastomotic channel between the superior and inferior vena cava , which to study the azygos system represents more of a contribution to the diagnosis.Downloads
